Music at St James
St James’s Church has a long and distinguished musical tradition. The Choir of St James’s is well regarded, singing for services frequently at St Albans Cathedral and across he country, most recently at Chester Cathedral and Westminster Abbey.
Musicians from the choir provide music for the sung Eucharists on Sundays and feast days. The full choir sings monthly
at Choral Evensong and at special services. The choir also performs significant choral works in liturgy and concert, such
as Handel’s Messiah and Bach’s St John Passion.
Music plays a central role in the ministry of St James’s. Our highly regarded choir offers beautiful music at Eucharists, Evensongs and special services.
After a brief hiatus, the musical ministry of St James’s is now in a period of growth and opportunity. If you or children are interested in joining the choir at St James’s or you would like to know more about our musical programme, please contact the Director of Music. DOM@busheyparish.org
