St James's Church Tower Fundraising Team are hosting a Bridge and Afternoon Tea event as part of Bushey Festival week on Wednesday 9th July. Please see below for information and tickets. Thank you for your support. The work on the Tower is ongoing and we still need to raise money for the restoration.
Tower Update June 2025
Our Contractor will begin the lead work on the Tower Roof at St James on 30th June when scaffolding will be erected. The Contractor expects to be finished in 3-4 weeks depending on what they find once the existing lead is stripped off and of course the weather. During this work the Bells will not be affected and can be rung as normal. However, access onto the roof won`t be possible.

Our Faith
Good news
The loving, sustaining, transforming mystery of God has come close to our human lives in the life of Jesus Christ on earth 2,000 years ago. Jesus is a surprising, provocative, fascinating commanding human being – like no other spiritual teacher and no-one else who has ever walked the earth. Through him we can find and be re-connected to God, knowing forgiveness and strength for living.
